Actor Mike Merrill was the official MC of the evening for the Screening Room ATL’s official 2 year Anniversary celebration. It was a packed house filled with actors, producers, directors, and everyone who has been super supportive of the journey. The Negril Village Restaurant has been the home of the Screening Room ATL since July of 2016. What an amazing night when thinking back how July 27th 2016 there were 11 people who showed up for the start of what was about to become one of the most amazing Wednesday night events in Atlanta. Consistency and grass root marketing definitely pays off no matter what goals you pursue.
Thanks to the night’s sponsor Möet & Chandon, there was alot of toasting and popping bottles taking place. Admist the partying the co-founder of the Screening Room ATL Khalimah Gaston had a few house-keeping announcements about events to come going forward in regards to the Screening Room ATL.

Going forward starting August 1st the Wednesday night weekly event will begin to take place BI-WEEKLY. So mark your calendars.

Also, the bi-weekly event will be moving to the West End. The new address will be 992 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. There will be a catered Tapas food menu, drinks and best of all Free Parking. This will all begin September 5th, 2018. Khalimah Gaston also celebrated the one year anniversary for the creation for “A Seat at the Table” which started July 2016. There will be a special panel group on Saturday July 28th from 1-4pm.
