The new show “The Family Reunion” created by Meg DeLoatch is now available as of today July 10th on Netflix. This type of Family Show could be described as being “just what the doctor ordered.” It’s definitely a prescription for laughter and exemplifies the union of family.

M’dear (Loretta Devine) is not only the life of the party but is happily married and truly in love. Her husband Jebediah (played by Richard Roundtree) put the patriarch Father back in the household which is definitely something we need to see back on television. The entire cast (minus Tia Mowry-Hardrict) was available at the Essence festival expressing the joy they had in filming together.
Isaiah Russell-Bailey commented on the joy he experienced while filming and the bond he developed with all of the cast stating ‘this is my new extended family.’ Veteran Loretta Devine and Richard Roundtree seemed very pleased with the finished project.
The stellar cast consists of Loretta Devine (M’Dear), Tia Mowry-Hardrict (Cocoa), Richard Roundtree (Jebediah), Anthony Alabi (Moz), Talia Jackson (Jade), Isaiah Russell-Bailey (Shaka), Cameron J. Wright (Mazzi) and Jordyn Raya James (Ami).
