Restauranteur and philanthropist Pinky Cole is the proud owner of her second location of the infamous Slutty Vegan burger Slut House in Jonesboro, GA. The Grand Opening kicked off July 11, 2020 which will always be a monumental day as the Mayor Joy B Day presented Alisha “Pinky” Cole with a Proclamation from the city of Jonesboro declaring 7/11 “Pinky Cole Day!”

The excitement of the Jonesboro grand opening was never ending as the surprise celebrity former original hosts of 106th & Park AJ & Free showed up to get the party started. Free was not a fan of the HOTLANTA heat as it was 90 degrees plus outside and she was the VJ and host of the official SLUT Dance Contest. AJ busted a few moves with the young fellas to show he hasn’t lost his touch (not to mention AJ nor Free hasn’t aged one bit).

A.J. announced that he & Free were celebrating the 20th Anniversary of 106th & Park (an American hip hop and R&B music video show, set up in a countdown format) produced in Harlem & New York City created by Stephen Hill. Not only was there a dance contest, Pinky Cole also had a table for voters registration & a census table so everyone in the Jonesboro community and in attendance could be accounted for.

Pinky was overjoyed and overwhelmed with the amount of support and turn out for this special day. There were over 2000 people served and the line flowed over half a mile from the front door. Guests came to the line with lawn chairs prepared for the 1-2 hour normal wait. Due to the special opening day there was a limited menu. Nevertheless, the food nor awesome customer service did not disappoint!

Congrats are definitely in order for Pinky Cole and her manager Chaka Zulu for doing an awesome job with marketing and their social media always drawing a crowd with one social media post. The Slutty Vegan is the plant based burger joint that’s been drawing in the most dedicated carnivore. It’s more than just burgers and fries though. It’s an experience.
Restaurant Consultant Greg Cole Founder of Opium Restaurant Consulting and his team (an Atlanta-based company that specializes in construction, menu development, and marketing, who did the work on the Jonesboro location); did an amazing job ensuring the opening happened on schedule and looked phenomenal from top to bottom. Opium Restaurant Consulting consults 7 additional restaurants including Old Lady Gang ll, Gocha’s Breakfast Bar and Nouveau Bar & Grill.
Check out why she chose the city of Jonesboro for her second location and also Cole announced there will be a third location opening in Edgewood with the next few weeks. Any day now we should expect information for the next grand opening! Long live the Pinky Cole Foundation (co-founder/partner Jermaine Dupri), and we at the Producer’s Channel wish Pinky Cole the best with her future endeavors to tour, write a book and have her own television show.
