This non profit provides luxury uber rides for families of incarcerated that have no transportation to visit their loved ones. Keeping Family Connected was created after the release of once (wrongfully accused) incarcerated Letitia Scott-Jackson; when she had no access to her family especially her kids because no one was able to provide them transportation to see her. This was an awful feeling she never wished anyone else to experience. Once released she and her husband decided to devote their lives to families of the incarcerated to make processing this new temporary way of life a little less painful for those grieving. Keeping Families Connected is definitely an organization that walks the walk and is not just about lip service. Please join the above mentioned celebrity talent. Scrapp Deleon from Love & Hip Hop Atlanta (and newly released from Federal Prison in Georgia) will actually be a guest speaker at this event to drop gems of knowledge and comforting words of wisdom to the families that may help ease the pain of their situation. Advocate Jamila T Davis who also recently served several years in Federal Prison will also be a guest speaker at the Third Annual Creation of Fashion Show.
