Guests were also treated to a surprise performance from YUNGBLUD, who stopped by the party after his GRAMMY for “Best Rock Performance” win earlier in the evening.

The gala raised $4.1 million, directly supporting Janie’s Fund’s mission to provide hope, healing, and long-term resources for girls and young women who have experienced trauma.

This year’s fundraising efforts were dedicated to building at least two new Janie’s Houses, expanding access to safe, trauma-informed housing for those in need.

Musician and founder of Janie’s Fund, Steven Tyler, opened the evening by welcoming guests and reflecting on a decade of impact made possible through the collective generosity of supporters, partners, and advocates.

He emphasized the importance of continued investment in sustainable solutions, long-term solutions, that empower survivors not just heal but to thrive.

Hosted by actress and longtime Janie’s Fund supporter Melissa Joan Hart, the evening unfolded with powerful moments throughout the program as she introduced speakers, highlighted the organization’s growth over the past ten years, and encouraged partygoers to donate funds to support ongoing programs.

Throughout the night, supporters of Janie’s Fund, executives, and Janie’s girls took to the stage to share their stories and how the organization has positively impacted them.

  • Janie’s Girls, Diamond King and Nicky Young, shared their personal journeys of navigating trauma and abuse with the support of Janie’s Fund’s LifeSet program.
  • Executive Council Member Edie Allen and Janie’s Girl, Edana Rivera, spoke to the breadth of Janie’s Fund programs and the life-changing outcomes. Rivera shared that she was once merely “surviving life,” but today she’s prepared and brave enough to live it.
  • Tia Carrere praised Janie’s Fund for instilling confidence in young girls and women, thanking longtime supporters and noting, “Nothing is better than knowing that you changed someone’s life for the better.”
  • Tanya Anderson (Executive Director of Residential Services, GA) and Nicole Fannin (Executive Director of Residential Services, TN) addressed the realities faced by young women without strong support systems, emphasizing how Janie’s Houses provide safe, trauma-informed environments that restore dignity and confidence.
  • Executive Council Member, Kim Blumenthal, shared updates on the Dance for Janie program, which has expanded from seven studios to more than 100 nationwide, educating families and empowering the next generation of women.

One of the most moving moments of the evening came when Mia Tyler thanked the audience for supporting her father’s work and introducing Michalann Clark, an ambassador and survivor.  Clark courageously shared her journey through poverty, food insecurity, family addiction, loss, and more than a decade in foster care across 11 homes.

Through Janie’s Fund’s LifeSet program and the guidance of her mentor, LaKeisha, Clark found stability, purpose, and hope. She became the first person in her family to earn a college degree and is now pursuing a second degree in social work to advocate for children in foster care. She concluded her remarks by reciting lines from her published poem, Cycle Breaker, declaring, “I am a cycle breaker. I will not break.”

Guests were treated to lively musical performances throughout the evening by The London Essentials, who had the crowd on their feet with renditions of “Burning Love,” “You Spin Me Round”, “Mambo Italiano,” “Don’t You Want Me,” “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back),” and “Proud Mary”.

The gala raised $4.1 million through a live appeal and auction featuring once-in-a-lifetime items including a guitar signed by the members of Oasis, a pair of Muhammad Ali’s boxing gloves worn in 1973,  a 1962 Cadillac Coupe Deville, and an Aerosmith “Dream On” pure gold playable record, among others, further advancing Janie’s Fund’s mission as it enters its next decade of impact.

The night continued with an electric after-party featuring Steven Tyler’s closest friends and collaborators. Robin Zander kicked off the celebration alongside an all-star house band including Nuno Bettencourt, James LoMenzo, and Matt Sorum, performing hits like  Hello,” “Surrender,” “I Want You to Want Me,” and “Dream Police”.

The performances continued all night with Marcus King (“Mississippi Queen” and “Carolina Honey”),  Chris Robinson (“Remedy”, “Jealous Again”), and Billy Corgan (“You Think You’re Tough”, “Bullet with Butterfly Wings”) who brought his daughter Philomena onstage for a special moment.

Steven Tyler closed the night with a series of iconic performances, including “Back in the Saddle” with GRAMMY Award winner YUNGBLUD, “Mama Kin,” “Walkin’ the Dog” with Chris Robinson, “Last Child” with Marcus King, and “More Than Words” with Nuno Bettencourt.
